Creating a graphic memoir: writing a draft script for the first chapter

I recently wrote a draft script for the first chapter of my memoir, using Meredith Li-Vollmer's approach, which I previously discussed. Without drawings, it probably won't make a lot of sense, but it was important for me to plan out the otuline of the chapter before drawing. A fourth column in my personal version of the script contains reference images and inspirations. The script will be expanded over time, but writing it was a useful exercise that encouraged me to spend more time with the material and guides me when I'm at a loss for what to draw next. I hope it will help you organize your work better as well.
