Preparing for the 2024 Graphic Medicine Conference

This will be my third time attending the Graphic Medicine Conference and my second time presenting, and I couldn’t be more excited! You can read about my first experience in Chicago here and my first presentation in Toronto here. This year, the conference is happening in the beautiful city of Athlone, Ireland.

I’m preparing a presentation on two narrative frameworks I’m using in my memoir: the Heroine’s Journey and the Journey of Integrity. Below is my abstract:

I’m also preparing handouts for my audience, as my presentation time is limited and I can’t discuss my project in detail. After two hours and one stapled finger, they’re finally ready, and I can’t wait to share them with those attending my talk.
