Live drawing with Sketchbook Skool: Witness

When it comes to drawing, drawing faces is something I feel very insecure about. That’s why drawing live with Sketchbook Skool today felt challenging but so much fun at the same time. We were drawing portraits as if we were witnesses to a crime, being given the descriptions of the perpetrators’ physical appearance and the actual mug shots to compare in the end. I quickly fell behind but managed to jot down and sketch two portraits that I later colored. The descriptions and portraits are provided below. I'm curious how you would have handled the exercise. Simply read the descriptions, draw, and scroll down to see the results!

Description 1: Male, middle-aged (late 30s), with red wavy hair, brushed back from his face, a thick mustache and trimmed beard, a pale face, a white buttoned-up shirt with metal buttons (decorative top button), a middle-sized nose, light-colored translucent eyes, and creases around the eyes.

Description 2: Female in her 20s, full-figured, with a heart-shaped face, dark curly hair parted in the middle, a bob cut with pins, small hazel eyes, a medium-sized nose, a smaller top lip, wearing deep maroon and embroidered V dress.
